Gift Certificates and Other Donations 2012
Not every event calls for a one of a kind creation, but we like to say yes when we are asked to pitch in so here is a collection of events we have supported with donations of gift certificates or other jewellery.
Coast Inn of the North Annual Staff Appreciation Dinner
On January 8th, 2012 we donated a pair of hand formed natural nugget stud earrings to the Annual Staff Appreciation dinner. It's a pleasure being located in Prince George Coast Hotel, and we enjoy a great rapport with the staff of the Coast and other business in our building.
Rotary Club of Burns Lake
In February of 2012 the Rotary Club of Burns Lake held a Babine Forest Products Benefit and we donated a $250.00 gift certificate. We wish Burns Lake well while they recover from a very difficult incident.
Order of the Eastern Star
On February 12, 2012 the Prince George chapter of the Eastern Star, Chapter 40, held a Sweetheart Auction and we donated a $250 gift certificate.
Tasha & Harlyn Rose Fundraiser
On March 3rd, 2012 a group of loving friends and family came together to put on a fundraiser for Tasha & Harlyn Rose. Harlyn is a child in need of surgery and support and this fundraiser was held with that goal in mind. We donated a $250 gift certificate, and we wish Tasha and Rose the best of luck.
Costco Wholesale Silent Auction
In March of 2012 we donated a gift certificate for $200 to Costco's Silent Auction, a fundraiser for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation which runs for several weeks.
College Heights Elementary School
On March 6th, 2012 College Heights Elementary School held a fundraiser for their Grade 7 French Immersion class, and we donated a $200 gift certificate to help them with their fundraising.
Blackburn Elementary School
On May 4th of 2012 the Blackburn Elementary School and the Parent Advisory Council held a fundraiser, and we donated a $250 gift certificate.
The Veloo Foundation
In March of 2012 we made a jade and diamond pendant called "The Moon Has Seen It All" and donated it to the Veloo Foundation which works in Ulaanbatar, Mongolia to improve the lives of impoverished children. The pendant is valued at $1,795 and will be auctioned at a fundraiser in the capital city of Mongolia.
Sarah White Recovery Fundraiser
On April 21st, 2012 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donated 14kt yellow gold diamond studs to the Sarah White Recovery Fundraiser. The earrings are valued at $488.
