Jewellery Donations
In this section you will find events that Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donate to each year. The donations in this section are hand formed jewellery that we have designed and created just for the specific event. In 2010 our total donations were valued at more than $25,450.
An Evening with the Premier
In April of 2012 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths created a pendant especially for An Evening with the Premier, an event which is a fundraiser for the BC Liberal party. We created a very special diamond pendant inspired by the British Columbian Flag, as well as to celebrate the bright future of our province.
The Prince George Symphony Orchestra
On March 31st of 2012 the PGSO held a very special event titled "The Red Violin" hosting the world famous violin virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn. Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths created an exception pendant for this event titled "The Master's Touch". This rose and palladium white gold diamond violin pendant was the raffle prize at the event.
Rotary Mini Auction
On November 26th, 2011 The Rotary Club of Prince George held it's annual Mini Auction, and we donated a checkerboard cut garnet pendant with a chain to help with the fundraising.
Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet and Fundraiser
On October 28th, 2011 Ducks Unlimited threw is 30th Annual Banquet and Fundraiser "Viva Las Vegas". We donated an amethyst and diamond pendant which was one of the two grand prizes in the reverse hat raffle. Ducks Unlimited has raised more than 1.6 million dollars in the Prince George community in it's thirty years here.
Prince George Community Foundation Citizen of the Year
On October 21st of 2011 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donated a ladies' amethyst pendant and earring set to the Prince George Community Foundation Citizen of the Year Celebration. We have been supporting this foundation and this event for many, many years and had the special honour this year of having our very own Darrell Hubbell selected at the Citizen of the Year.
Evening of Pink
On September 24th of 2011 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths designed and created a pink pearl stand with a pink button pearl and tourmaline pendant for the Evening of Pink, a fundraiser and awareness raiser for Breast Cancer. The Evening of Pink is an annual event held in Prince George.
The Razzle Dazzle Do
In August of 2011 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donated a fabulous hand made neckpiece created from supported gold donations to this fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis held in Prince George at the Sweder Berries U-Pick Farm.
A Taste of India
On February 18th of 2012 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donated a one of a kind blue zircon and diamond pendant to the Yellowhead Rotary Club's annual fundraiser called "A Taste of India".
Ukrainian New Year's
In January of 2011 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donated three Brazilian fancy marquise cut lemon citrines and a $1000 gift certificate to the Ukrainian New Year's Showcase Malanka held in Prince George.
Wine Lovers Dinner
This year's Wine Lovers Dinner was held on February 25th, 2012. The Wine Lovers Dinner is an annual event that provides a very pleasant evening for the people of Prince George while fundraising for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. We were happy to donate this piece that was created especially for this event.
Festival of Trees
On November 19th, 2010 the festival of trees held its live auction. We donated a pendant that went on the top of one of the highest grossing trees in the auction, the tree donated by Canaccord Wealth Management. In November of 2011 we gave a $500 gift certificate to the Chamber of Commerce's Lunch Among the Trees Event.
Two Rivers Gallery
In June of 2010 Hubbell Designer Goldsmiths donated a hand made pendant to the Two Rivers Gallery Live Art Auction held in Prince George at the Gallery.
